Grand Hotel Yerevan - Small Luxury Hotels of the World

This is an opulent hotel that exceeded my expectations. The decor, space, dining room, bar/lounge area where all extraordinary. But, above all, the staff made the stay most memorable! The kindness and attentiveness of the Armenian people is unparalleled!

This is a lovely brilliantly located hotel It is old world in a sense and we extended our original booking here because of its high comfort level ( bed was cloud like !) and wonderful location. The staff were all simply superb and so helpful when we asked for anything. I loved this place and would go back in a heartbeat ! The breakfast was very good the one morning we chose to have it ( we like variety and being able to eat out in the city or while on tours ) If thinking of super comfort - great location - helpful friendly staff and want to walk Yerevan book this hotel .

The location is very central and perfectly adapted to discover Yerevan, at walking distance from the main concert hall and most museums. The personnel is very kind and always helpful : upon arrival in the middle of the night, it was possible to get a real meal. Breakfast is varied and tasty (try the cherry juice !). The wine list is large enough to give an interesting view over Armenian wines ; if you hesitate, try the Toonk areni, or - of course - Grand Karas ! Reception is always helpful to get a taxi or directions for the places you want to visit.

It has probably seen its best days as of now but you can feel it is a 5 star hotel and everyone makes an effort to live up to being a small grand hotel. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the staff wonderful and the location is perfect. I liked the turndown service. All of this at a reasonable price which is why I think it is the best option for this money in Yerevan and definitely much nicer than the high rated 4 star hotels.

I enjoyed the room, the bar area, the restaurant, breakfast, location, staff, spa, airport transfer. The bar area was decorated beautifully for Christmas, it was really lovely.
